With everything going on it’s easy to feel overwhelmed, stressed and like you are alone and no one cares. Experiencing depression, anxiety, or trauma symptoms can magnify these thoughts and feelings.

wHAT IS tHERAPY?

Psychotherapy is simply a safe space where, without judgement you can receive compassionate and empathetic listening while helping you to untangle and understand your thoughts, feelings and emotions. Doing so allows you to heal and live your life in a more engaged, productive, and healthy way. The goal would be to have a healthy mind, regulated emotions, and more positive interactions with friends, family, and co-workers.

COVID-19 and video therapy

Due to COVID-19, I am only providing video therapy until further notice. While it is convenient, it is not the appropriate level of service for everyone and can sometimes come with it’s own challenges. If you become a client, services are provided through a secure and HIPAA compliant portal. Please call (510-239-3893) or email (ljohnsonphd@gmail.com) to discuss whether or not video therapy is right for you.
